Don’t miss Australian star of the screen and stage, Tom Burlinson, when he brings his latest musical masterpiece to Glen Street. Accompanied by a remarkable eight piece band, this show is a sensational, swinging salute to the masters of swing music.
Tom has delved deep into the Great American Song Book to create a montage of swing classics by Tony Bennett, Sammy Davis Jr, Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin and Frank Sinatra. He will also perform songs made famous by super cool swingers of the current era including Harry Connick Jr, Michael Bublé and Robbie Williams.
Tom’s show includes the greatest songs from the era of swing, including Sway, Just in Time, Beyond the Sea, L-O-V-E, Birth of the Blues, The Way You Look Tonight, Ain’t That a Kick in the Head? and Feeling Good.
“This music is, to a degree, timeless,” says Tom.
