Bangarra Dance Theatre composer David Page, stars in Page 8, an inspiring coming-of-age story. Page 8 is a story of how, as the eighth child of twelve living in a Mt Gravatt housing commission estate, David became Australia’s answer to Michael Jackson.

Little Davy Page was an all-singing, all-dancing sensation. At a tender age he appeared on Countdown and The Paul Hogan Show and his singles twice made it to the Top Ten until his voice broke. Then in his teenage years there were questions of identity and place in the world, until finally he became an award-winning composer for stage, television and film.
